How to Find a Process Server
Search where the papers must be delivered, not where you or your law firm are located. Process Server Finder organizes published providers by state, county, and ZIP code so you can identify businesses that report serving the relevant area.
Search by ZIP code
1. Start with the service address
Enter the ZIP code for the address where service is needed. Because some ZIP codes cross county boundaries, select the correct county when more than one result appears. You can also browse by state and county if you do not have a ZIP code.
2. Compare published provider information
- Confirm that the provider lists the county where service is needed.
- Review the published location, services, website, and contact options.
- Ask whether the provider handles routine, rush, difficult-service, or skip-trace assignments when relevant.
- Confirm any registration, licensing, appointment, or procedural requirement that applies in the jurisdiction.
3. Request current terms directly
Availability, turnaround time, attempts, travel charges, and document requirements vary by assignment. Contact selected providers directly and obtain their current price and terms in writing before hiring.
